Based in Dallas, Paulette Pearson Studio offers fine art colored pencil illustrations, prints and stationery, and collaborates with clients on custom fine art colored pencil commission pieces. The studio is known for creating high-end, collectible fine works of art with a sense of humor, personality and whimsical flair.
Paulette Pearson works out of her home studio in Dallas, where you’re likely to find her drawing late into the night with her scruffy rescue dog, Zooey, by her side and a Grace Kelly movie playing in the background. As a young girl, Paulette was encouraged to draw by her grandmother, who kept her supplied with colored pencil sets. Paulette went on to earn both a law degree and a master’s degree in journalism, eventually becoming a magazine editor. However, she’s always happiest when drawing, surrounded by her shoe boxes full of art supplies. Paulette is most inspired by observing people—especially if they’re having fun and doing absurd or silly things—and translates her own quirky sense of humor and eye for style into lively pieces of fine art (on the not-so-serious side).
